The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) released an advisory on consular services during the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Manila.
The DFA advises the public that there will be no consular services (e.g. passport, authentication/”red ribboning,” consular civil registration and other related services) in the DFA-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA Aseana) and in all DFA Field Offices (Satellite Offices) in the National Capital Region (NCR) from 17 to 20 November 2015 in connection with the activities related to the APEC Summit to be held in Metro Manila during those days.
However, the DFA announced that only those with emergency consular needs (i.e. death of a family member overseas, urgent medical procedures to be done overseas, and urgent contractual obligations overseas) may approach their Satellite Offices (SOs).
For DFA NCR-South (Metro Alabang) on 17 November, with contact number 403-6093 and DFA NCR-Northeast (Ali Mall) on 18 November, with contact number 293-0748.
The DFA NCR-Central (Robinsons Galleria) on 19 November, with contact number 631-0806 and the DFA NCR-East (SM Megamall) on 20 November, with contact number 234-2478.
All DFA satellite offices will resume regular operations on November 21, 2015 (Saturday).
